Ahmed Paruk was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director at HBZ Bank Limited in 2025. He is a Chartered Accountant (since 1995) and Registered Auditor (since 1999) with over 25 years of experience in audit and assurance. He began his career at David Strachan & Tayler (now PKF), where he completed his articles, and was later appointed as a Director. In March 2018, he became the Managing Partner of PKF Durban and currently serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee.
